ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and improve sales of assigned territory.  
  • Meet sales forecast and budget for assigned territory. Provide customer service, solicit new business, and conduct sales promotions. 
  • Demonstrate products and assist prospects in product selection based on customer needs.  
  • Familiarize established accounts with new products and developments. 
  • Prepare price quotations, sales terms, delivery dates, etc. 
  • Prepares periodic reports on activities, sales, expenses, and market conditions. 
  • Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements. 
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders. 
  • Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales. 
  • Maintain customer records, using automated systems. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.  
  • Coordinate product feedback with appropriate IGM personnel (technical, logistics, production, operations, and senior management).  May perform other duties as required. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemistry, Sales and Marketing, Economics, or closely related field of study and two (2) years of experience involving each of the following:
    - Sales in the chemical industry CASE market; and
    - Chemical Distribution.
  • Must also have one (1) year of experience involving Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, or other CRM Software.
  • Travel required approximately 130 days a year domestically and internationally (primarily to Mexico).
